Larianne is a native Victorian and has been a long-time resident in the Strawberry Vale area of Saanich. Her love for the neighborhood inspired her to create and establish Hastings Dental Hygiene Clinic in 2009. As a former dental assistant and receptionist, she understood the value of working in a dental team, and what it takes to set up a successful practice. According to our patients, HDHC is considered a real gem in our community. Larianne gains much personal and professional satisfaction with all her patient interactions. She believes in her role as a health promoter and continues to offer an environment where patients feel cared for in the most professional and compassionate way.
Owner - Registered Dental HygienistAda Barker
Ada joined Hastings Dental Hygiene in 2023 as co-owner but has known Larianne since 2008, as her Dental Hygiene Instructor at Camosun College. As an educator/clinician, Ada brings with her decades of dental experience in delivering a full spectrum philosophy in patient care, in promoting oral and systemic health, and general well-being. Her role will change in the Fall of 2025 to focus more on the administrative aspect of the practice, but will still be available to provide direct patient care as needed.
